It is to be recalled that Forum for Peace, Unity, Law and Order (Forum) came into existence in
September 2013. Forum is formed by active members of the St. Mary and St. Gabriel Ethiopian
Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Winnipeg (the Church). Prior to the formation of Forum, many individuals
attempted to introduce the needed changes that would conform to the time, the Church’s bylaw (of
1997) and with the general workings of the Canadian’s Charity Law. All these efforts were taking place

ለሰላም፣ ለአንድነትና ለሕግ የበላይነት የተቋቋመ መድረክ (መድረክ) ከSeptember 2013 ጀምሮ መቋቋሙ ይታወቃል። መድረክ የተቋቋመው በዊኒፔግ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ የቅድስት ማርያም ወ ቅዱስ ገብርኤል አባላት ነው። መድረክ ከመቋቋሙ ቀደም ብሎ፣ አንዳንድ ግለሰቦች ከ1997 በፊት የነበረው የቤተ ክርስቲያናችን መተዳደሪያ ደንብ መሠረት፣ የበጐ አድራጊ ድርጅቶችን የሚመለከትው የCanadian Revenue Agency ሕግ ጋር በማጣጣም፣ ከጊዜው ጋር የሚሄዱና አስፈላጊ የሆኑ ለውጦች እንዲመጡ ጥረት አድርገው ነበር። እነዚህም ሁሉ ጥረቶች የተካሄዱት በቤተ ክርስቲያኗ ውስጥ ነበር።
